Definition Bitter-sensing gustatory receptor neuron of the labellum that innervates a broadly-tuned bitter sensillum of the labellum belonging to group S-a. They express the widest range of Gustatory receptors, including Gr22b, Gr36b and Gr58b, which are generally not expressed in other classes of bitter-sensing neurons of the labellum (Weiss et al., 2011).[ FlyBase:FBrf0212834 ]
