Definition Any hemilineage A (Notch ON) neuron that develops from neuroblast NB3-1 during the postembryonic phase of neurogenesis. Most of the Notch ON hemilineage is eliminated by apoptosis (Lacin et al., 2019), leaving only a small number of interneurons (Truman et al., 2010).[ FlyBase:FBrf0209606 FlyBase:FBrf0242251 ]
