| Definition |
Adult fruitless neuron with its cell body located between the lateral superior protocerebrum and the optic lobe (Yu et al., 2010). It projects ventrally, arborizing in the dorsal anterior lobula then follows the great commissure to the contralateral lobula (Yu et al., 2010). It develops from neuroblast VPNp1 (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013).
