ID (Ontology) |
FBbt:00100143 (Fly Anatomy) |
| Definition |
Gustatory receptor neuron whose dendrites innervate the terminal organ on the surface of the larval head, but whose soma is located in the dorsal organ ganglion (Python and Stocker, 2002). The axons of these neurons project via the antennal nerve (Python and Stocker, 2002) into area 4 of the subesophageal ganglion (Colomb et al., 2007). There are 3 of these neurons on each side, and all have a dendrite in the dorsomedial papilla of the terminal organ dorsolateral group (Rist and Thum, 2017).[ FlyBase:FBrf0147119 FlyBase:FBrf0201176 FlyBase:FBrf0236934 ] |
