      Auxotrophic mutant involved in purine metabolism.

      (Zhimulev et al., 1987)

      Homozygous females and hemizygous males exhibit purine nucleoside auxotrophy: the growth response to adenosine is less strong than the response to guanosine. Hemizygous flies are lethal at 25oC and 29oC. Small concavity of the wing margin at the distal end of the 4th longitudinal vein.
