Description

Three copies of the binding site for the br transcription factor are fused upstream of an FRT cassette which contains the mCherry open reading frame and a stop codon. The pLUC coding region is present downstream of the FRT cassette. When the FRT cassette is present the mCherry coding region is expressed. If the FRT cassette is excised using FLP, the pLUC coding region is expressed.
