Description

alrm promoter sequences are followed by an FRT cassette containing the coding sequence for a GAL4 driver. The cassette is followed by the coding sequence for a lexA::GAD driver. The GAL4 driver, but not the lexA::GAD driver, is expressed under the control of the alrm promoter in the absence of FLP recombinase.

Comments

alrm promoter sequences are followed by an Scer\FRT cassette containing the Scer\GAL4 coding region. The cassette is followed by a fusion protein consisting of Ecol\lexA and the Scer\GAL4 activation domain. The Scer\GAL4 coding region, but not the lexA::GAD fusion protein, is expressed under the control of the alrm promoter in the absence of FLPase.
