Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Ir75d ID (Ontology) FBbt:00047054 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron that expresses the Ionotropic receptor (Ir) 75d and the co-receptors Ir76b and Ir25a (Silbering et al., 2011; Benton et al., 2025). It responds to pyrrolidine (Benton et al., 2025). There are three subclasses, which all innervate only the ipsilateral antennal lobe glomerulus VL1, with dendrites transducing signals from different antennal coeloconic sensilla (Silbering et al., 2011; Kaur et al., 2019).
