General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Ir75a ID (Ontology) FBbt:00110013 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron that expresses the Ionotropic receptor (Ir) 75a and the co-receptor Ir8a (Benton et al., 2025). It innervates antennal glomerulus DP1l bilaterally (Silbering et al., 2011; Kaur et al., 2019). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal coeloconic sensillum ac2 (Benton et al., 2009). It responds to carboxylic acids (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
