| Definition |
Adult olfactory receptor neuron that expresses the ionotropic receptor (Ir) 76a and the co-receptors Ir76b and Ir25a and has its dendrite in antennal coeloconic sensillum ac4 (Benton et al., 2025). It responds to phenylethylamine, ethylamine and ammonia (Benton et al., 2009; Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus VM4 bilaterally (Silbering et al., 2011; Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
