Description
What does this section display?
This section contains items that were added to this record for each release. It currently only tracks new links between this FlyBase report and other FlyBase data classes (e.g. genes, references, stocks) or controlled vocabulary terms (e.g. GO, anatomy terms).
What does this section not display?
This section does not currently display links that were removed or gene model changes.

An Hsp70 promoter drives expression of an intronless Dhyd\Minos\Ths.PF gene.
Left hand repeat of Dhyd\Minos is replaced by the Hsp70 promoter.
456bp XbaI-XmnI fragment of Hsp70 promoter and 206bp of untranslated leader sequence replace the 5' inverted repeat of Dhyd\Minos\T.
Hsp70 promoter drives expresson of Dhyd\Minos\T missing the 5' terminus.
Construct: Dhyd\Minos transposase gene is under the control of a heat shock promoter.

Carried in plasmid pHSS6hsMi2 and injected into D.melanogaster preblastoderm embryos as a source of transposase. Also carried in P{hsILMiT} and used to generate transgenic D.melanogaster flies containing a helper chromosome providing transposase.
A defective Dhyd\Minos transposon that is inserted into the D.melanogaster genome is stable in the absence of Dhyd\Minos\Ths.PF but is mobilised at relatively high frequencies in the presence of transposase.
Used as a Dhyd\Minos transposase source assayed in the D.melanogaster genome.
Carried in plasmid pHSS6hsMi2, expressed in D.melanogaster flies as a source of transposase.
