Fas2-positive axon bundles in the ventral nerve cord are fused in embryos expressing GSd246GSd246 under the control of Scer\GAL4scrt-11-6. In the periphery, the ISNb, ISNd, SNa and SNc motor neurons are missing or thinned.
The "GSd246" line contains two insertions (P{GSV1}GSd246a and P{GSV1}GSd246b) and it is not known which insertion is responsible for the lethality and other phenotypes seen in combination with the Scer\GAL4scrt-11-6 driver. FlyBase curator comment: a GSd246GSd246 allele has been made to accommodate the overexpression phenotypes, until it is known which (or both) insertions cause them.
