Deletion of part of the cyst open reading frame (deletion removes codons G233 to F1309, numbered according to the RA isoform). A recombination-mediated cassette exchange (RMCE) sequence cassette encoding a w+* marker surrounded by a pair of inverted attP sites has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence.
