ScerGAL4Pbprp2.PS drives expression in the trichogen and tormogen cells of a subset of gustatory sensilla in the prothoracic male legs. These same sensilla are also labeled by ScerGAL4CheB42a.PX although expression is found in different cells of each sensilla.

Expression of ScerGAL4Pbprp2.PS is seen within internal taste organs. Although not explicitly stated, it is likely that these internal taste organs are the dorsal and ventral cibarial sense organs.
