A set of over 60 interchromosomal duplications derived from site-specific integration of retrofitted BACs, generated for the Bloomington Stock Center collection. BAC clones were 'retrofitted' using the plasmid TKVBL-w+ so that they were competent for Pacman style transgenesis, and inserted by phiC31-mediated recombination into the VK33 docking site on the third chromosome.
A duplication of sequence from the X chromosome derived from the BACR40C07 BAC clone has been inserted into the PBac{y+-attP-3B}VK00033 docking site on the 3rd chromosome using phiC31-mediated recombination. The left end of the duplicated fragment is not known (maps to arm U) the right end of the duplication is at coordinate 1:55659 , release 5.
May be homozygous viable and fertile.
