Detailed Description
	Statement Reference Adult survivors transheterozygotes with RpL15^PΔ2 or RpL15^PΔ8 are sterile with underdeveloped gonads and show reduced body size, small and thin bristles, rough and/or reduced eyes, misrotated genitalia (males) and wing, wing vein and wing hair phenotypes. Reducing the growth temperature to 22^oC (as compared to 25^oC) increases the incidence of survivors. Sex ratios are also skewed in favour of males in the survivors. An exception is the RpL15^7-1/RpL15^PΔ8 combination where the sex ratio is normal. (Schulze et al., 2001)
