Excision of the P{SUPor-P} element, which has resulted in a large deletion of material upstream of the site of the insertion, including the first 3 exons of exo70.
Heterozygous females show precocious nuclear envelope breakdown in stage 12 oocytes.
Heterozygosity for mtrmexc13 results in elevated X (49.0%) and fourth (29.0%) chromosome nondisjunction in In(1)FM7/X ; svspa-pol females compared to controls. The level of X chromosome nondisjunction in heterozygous mtrmexc13 females carrying two normal sequence X chromosomes is only 3.1%, while the frequency of fourth chromosome nondisjunction in these females is 31.0%.
mtrmexc13 has abnormal meiotic cell cycle phenotype, suppressible by poloKG03033
Exo70exc13, mtrmexc13 has partially lethal - majority die | recessive phenotype
Exo70exc13, mtrmexc13 has partially lethal - majority die phenotype
The "exc13" chromosome (which carries the exo70exc13 and mtrmexc13 alleles) shows recessive semi-lethality; less than 50% of the expected number of homozygous adults eclose out of their pupal cases and those that do die within 1-2 days of eclosion.
Associated with: exo70exc13.
