      Expression of Hsap\APPS8D.Scer\UAS.T:nec under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in age-dependent degeneration of photoreceptor cells, with stronger defects being seen compared to expression of Hsap\APPScer\UAS.T:nec under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.

      Expression of Hsap\APPS8D.Scer\UAS.T:nec under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 results in an age-dependent decrease in locomotor activity compared to controls flies of the same age. The defect is stronger than that seen when Hsap\APPScer\UAS.T:nec is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.
