      Expression of aldCenp-C.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 results in severe chromosome segregation defects during mitosis 14. Prophase and metaphase figures are normal in number and appearance, but cells in anaphase, telophase and early in the next interphase display chromatin bridges. Sister kinetochores fail to segregate to spindle poles.
