      Larval brains expressing osadsRNA.Scer\UAS.VALIUM20 under the control of Scer\GAL4wor.PA contain additional type II NB-like cells. Transplantation of this tissue into the abdomens of adult wild type hosts results in tumor formation.

      Expression of osadsRNA.Scer\UAS.VALIUM20 in dpn[-], ase[-] immature Intermediate Neural Progenitors (imINPs) under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR9D11 causes formation of mira[+], ase[-] cells that are not seen in controls, and these give rise to tumors when transplanted into the abdomens of adult wild type hosts.
