Over 10kb of the endogenous Gfat1 gene (including the entire coding sequence) has been deleted. A sequence cassette that contains 1. a Disc\RFPDsRed(T1).3xP3.cHa marker flanked by loxP sites and 2. a single attP site has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence.
