Description
Description
The ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family are primary active transporters that use ATP hydrolysis to drive the transport of substrates across the membrane. The ABCH subfamily are half transporters and must dimerize to form a functional transporter.(Adapted from FBrf0224053).
Notes on Group

ABCH subfamily is found in arthropods. ABCHs have also been described in sea urchin and a subset of teleosts, but not in fungi, plants and mammals (FBrf0224053, PMID:26472499).
