A set of transgenic insertion stocks derived by TE mobilization using the P-element construct P{GT1}; created and vetted by the Gene Disruption Project (GDP). The P{GT1} construct is described as a dual-tagged gene trap (FBrf0132344):it carries (1) w[+mGT1] mini-white marker, designed to confer a pigmented eye phenotype only if the construct is inserted within a host gene, and
(2) a promoter-less Ser\GAL4 gene which is expressed if it is produced as a fusion with the mRNA produced by the host gene. The construct also carries
a Tn\neoR selectable marker (FBrf0132344).

Detailed Description

Statement
Reference
CG32572[BG01683] homozygous males have significantly decreased levels of aggression. (P < 0.0001; Male aggression index = 7.65). The mushroom
body alpha lobes in these animals are significantly longer and wider, relative to overall brain size, than in wild-type (P
< 0.00 ). In some cases beta-lobes are missing altogether.
