UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a pain[p72] isoform tagged at the C-terminus with Venus. pain[p72] is transcribed from the same promoter as the transcript encoding pain[p103], but it includes an alternately spliced second intron that results in the utilization of an alternate ATG start codon.
