General Information
Term larval prothoracic lch3 neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00002018 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Larval neuron that innervates the prothoracic lateral triscolopidial chordotonal organ (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997). Unlike other prothoracic lateral cluster neurons, its axon fasciculates with the mesothoracic segmental nerve, rather than the prothoracic intersegmental nerve (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997). There are three of these cells on each side (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997).[ FlyBase:FBrf0089570 ]
