| Definition | GABAergic multiglomerular local neuron of the larval antennal lobe whose soma is located dorsolaterally to the antennal lobe (Berck et al., 2016). Its dendrites innervate a relatively small number of glomeruli, but it has a clear axon that targets most glomeruli, where it contributes to postsynaptic inhibition (Berck et al., 2016). Its strongest input is from olfactory neurons and it outputs onto uniglomerular and multiglomerular projection neurons (Berck et al., 2016).
