ID (Ontology) |
GO:0141174 (Gene Ontology) |
| Definition |
A process by which a symbiont inhibits or disrupts anti-inflammatory cytokine signaling in the host organism, either by disruption of production, sequesteration, or destruction of at least one component of the signaling pathway. Anti-inflammatory cytokines include: interleukin (IL)-1, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IL-11, and IL-13.
