Expression of mys::torD.Scer\UAS in the wing under the control of Scer\GAL469B results in a wing-blister phenotype.
When mys::torD.Scer\UAS is driven un the amnioserosa (by Scer\GAL4c381) or the yolk (by Scer\GAL4P0180), separation between amnioserosa and yolk membrane, and thining of the amnioserosa is seen. Expression also causes a strong reduction of the amnioserosa/leading edge interface and rips in the amnioserosa. 11% of embryos have dorsal holes. When mys::torD.Scer\UAS is driven in the yolk (by Scer\GAL4P0180), separation between amnioserosa and yolk membrane, and thining of the amnioserosa is seen. 6% of embryos have dorsal holes. When mys::torD.Scer\UAS is driven in both the amnioserosa and yolk (Scer\GAL4P0181) 38% of embryos have dorsal holes.
