Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

NΔECN.hs blocks SOP formation only in wild type but not nct mutant wing discs.

Heat shock during the third larval instar or early pupal stages causes rough eyes with fused/missing ommatidia, bristle irregularities, and other disruptions indicative of cell death. Heat pulses in the middle to late third instar larvae also result in extra macrochaetae. Wings show thickened veins.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Expression of NΔECN.hs in pcx3 embryos which lack maternal and zygotic pcx function partially rescues the neurogenic phenotype is 90% of embryos, while the phenotype is not rescued in the remaining 10% of embryos.
