    Detailed Description
    Statement
    Reference

Stage 16-17 fra23H9/fraGA957 embryos have defects in the anterior commissures (5.4% thin, 0.9% absent) and in the posterior commissures (13.5% thin, 6.3% absent).

fraGA957 mutants exhibit fragmented commissures and gaps in longitudinal connectives.

Commissures are thin or absent and there are breaks in the longitudinal connectives.

    Statement
    Reference

A tutlex383 heterozygous background dramatically enhances the fraGA957 mutant phenotype. fraGA957, tutlex383 double mutants typically have only one thin and fragmented commissure along the entire length of the embryo, indicating an extreme reduction in commissure formation and fragmented longitudinal connectives.

Does not affect the phenotype caused by two copies of P{UAS-fra-robo-Myc} expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu.
