Embryos from Pka-R1¹⁸³⁰⁴ germline clones have patterning defects ranging from deletion of the head to complete mirror-image duplication of posterior structures (abdominal segments and filzkorper material). The same range of phenotypes is seen in embryos from Pka-R1¹⁸³⁰⁴/Df(3L)ri^XT106 and Pka-R1¹⁸³⁰⁴/Pka-R1^E1 mothers.
