Expression of CSN3^HMS00242 in the cyst cells of the testes under the control of any of Scer\GAL4^tj-NP1624, Scer\GAL4^A3.eya or Scer\GAL4^c784 (limited to a week from eclosion onwards using Scer\GAL80^ts.αTub84B) results in loss of the net-like cytoplasmic extensions that usually surround the germline cells.
