      Only 38% of embryos expressing groΔCR.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 form cuticle. The cuticles formed usually show severe defects in patterning. None of the embryos hatch.

      Expression of groΔCR.Scer\UAS.P\T under the control of Scer\GAL4Ser.PGF results in severe wing blistering and ectopic bristles along the wing vein.
