      Expression of Pvf1HMS01958 under the control of Scer\GAL4bam.T:Hsim\VP16 results in increased female germline stem cell apoptosis in response to irradiation compared with controls. No increase in GSC apoptosis is seen following irradiation when Pvf1HMS01958 is expressed in the somatic cells under the control of Scer\GAL4C587.
