      Expression of tioΔZn2.Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.PS induces ectopic eyes in the 4% of antennal discs. The ectopic eyes produced are smaller than those seen when a full length tio construct, tioScer\UAS.cDa, is expressed.

      Cell proliferation appears normal in antennal disc clones expressing tioΔZn2.Scer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4Scer\FRT.Act5C.
