      Expression of one or two copies of gcmScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4sca.PU in embryos leads to a substantial increase in glial cell population, as compared to controls.

      Expression of gcmScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.PU (induced during embryogenesis by heat shock at 6 hours AEL) leads to an increase in glial cells at both 11-12 hrs and 15-16 hrs AEL.
