Expression of Nup62TRiP.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified leads to excessive chromatin positioning in the nuclear periphery in nurse cells and an increased nuclear diameter in oocytes, but it does not disrupt overall structural integrity of the nuclear pore complex or the active import function.
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has karyosome phenotype, enhanceable by ElysRNAi.UAS, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has karyosome phenotype, suppressible by Nup154HMS01189, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has nurse cell phenotype, suppressible by Nup154HMS01189, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has chromatin | female | adult stage phenotype, suppressible by Nup154HMS01189, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has nucleus | female | adult stage phenotype, suppressible by Nup154HMS01189, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has karyosome phenotype, non-suppressible by Nup50HMS01054, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has karyosome phenotype, non-suppressible by Nup160HMS00385, Scer\GAL4unspecified
Nup62TRiP.cUa, Scer\GAL4unspecified has oocyte nucleus phenotype, non-suppressible by Nup154HMS01189, Scer\GAL4unspecified
The karyosome disruption - aberrant attachment of the chromatin to nuclear periphery - characteristic for oocytes expressing Nup62TRiP.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified is significantly improved by co-expression of Nup154HMS01189 and further worsened by co-expression of CG14215dsRNA.UAS, while co-expression of either Nup50HMS01054 or Nup160HMS00385 do not significantly alter the phenotype.
The excessive chromatin positioning in the nuclear periphery in nurse cells of Nup62TRiP.cUa-expressing females is also rescued by co-expression of Nup154HMS01189.
The increased nuclear diameter observed in oocytes expressing Nup62TRiP.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified is not reduced by co-expression of Nup154HMS01189 (which on its own actually also increases the nuclear size).
