      P\TSal-M19 show reduced variegation of the P{lacW}ciDplac insertion in a w[-] background compared to its progenitor, P\TSal.

      P\TSal-M19 does not cause P-element dependent silencing of the w marker in the P{hsp26-pt-T}ci2-M1021.R insertion.

      Expression of the w marker in the P{hsp26-pt-T}39C-12 insertion line normally shows variegation, but this is suppressed by P\TSal-M19.
