Comments

This chromosome consists of three X chromosome segments appended to the end of YL: a segment from 1Lt to the distal breakpoint of In(1)sc7 within the achaete-scute complex in 1B, a medial segment extending distally from the 6D8 breakpoint of In(1)sc7, and a segment of centric heterochromatin (FBrf0109188). The distal X segment carries a wild-type allele of y, which enables one to follow the chromosome in crosses. The chromosomes were isolated in a manner similar to the Dp(1;Y)BSC chromosomes described in FBrf0212582 using In(1)sc7 and C(1;Y)6 as progenitor chromosomes.

Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
