Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
    Phenotypic Data
    In combination with other aberrations

Df(2R)edl-S0520/Df(2R)edl-L19 and Df(2R)edl-S0520/Df(2R)Exel7157 transheterozygotes, but not Df(2R)edl-S0520/Df(2R)ED3636 transheterozygotes, show cardioblast patterning defects in the embryo; Df(2R)edl-S0520/Df(2R)Exel7157 transheterozygous embryos also show very few ostial cardioblasts, as compared to controls.

    Inferred to overlap with: Df(2R)edl-L19.

    Inferred to overlap with: Df(2R)Exel7157.

NOT in combination with other aberrations

Df(2R)edl-S0520 mutant embryos show cardioblast (CB) patterning defects, and a higher generic CBs:ostial CBs ratio than the typical 4:2 ratio.
