      When expressed in the eye under indirect control of the Scer\GAL4elav.PLu allele, Ptp69DΔPTP2.Scer\UAS rescues the R1-R6 targeting phenotype in Ptp69D1/Df(3L)8ex34 larvae, but fails to restore viability beyond the pupal stage.
