Expression of ci5m.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL471B results in expansion of the wing disc in the wing blade region, with the anterior and posterior compartments being equally affected. Percentage embryonic lethality in lines expressing ciScer\UAS.cPa under the control of various Scer\GAL4 driver lines: 44% (Scer\GAL4e22c driver), 88% (Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 driver) and 65% (Scer\GAL4en-e16E driver). Percentage larval/pupal lethality in lines expressing ciScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL471B : 77%.

The wing disc phenotype caused by expression of ci5m.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL471B phenotype is still seen if the animals are also co-expressing Mmus\PkacamC.Scer\UAS.
