Statement
Reference
Expression of Rh6[ninaE.PS] rescues the ability of ninaE[17] larvae to strongly discriminate between 18[o]C and 24[o]C in a binary choice thermotaxis assay.
The electroretinograms of homozygous ninaE17 flies have no on- or off-transients and the magnitude of depolarisation is dramatically reduced compared to wild-type. The light response in the ERG is completely restored if the flies are carrying Rh6ninaE.PS.
