      Sf3b5EY12579 is homozygous lethal, the animals die as first instar larvae.

      Sf3b5EY12579 mosaic adults in which the eyes are homozygous for Sf3b5EY12579, while the rest of the body is heterozygous (generated by the EGUF method) show dramatic eye ablation, the eyes being about fourfold smaller than in controls.
