Flies expressing cosCSBD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 have decreased spacing between veins L3 and L4 in the wing compared to wild-type controls. Proximal fusions of veins L3 and L4 are seen.

Co-expression of cosCSBD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 and smodsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1 results a near lethal phenotype. Escapers show a more severe wing vein L3 and L4 fusions and significantly decreased spacing between wing veins L3 and L4 compared to expression of either cosCSBD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 or smodsRNA.Scer\UAS.WIZ alone.
