Comments

tayScer\UAS.cPa with Scer\GAL4elav.PLu does not rescue the protocerebral bridge defects seen in tay1 homozygotes, and only weakly rescues their locomotor defects. When Scer\GAL4210Y. Scer\GAL4Aph-4-c232, Scer\GAL4c819, Scer\GAL4NP2320 or Scer\GAL4NP3124 is instead used as a driver, no rescue of protocerebral bridge or locomotor defects is seen. In contrast, when Scer\GAL4007Y is used as a driver, both protocerebral and locomotor defects are completely rescued. When Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 is used as driver, the protocerebral bridge defects are not rescued but some locomotor defects are: walking activity (in Buridan's paradigm) is partially rescued; optomotor compensation is fully rescued; walking speed is not rescued.
