      Expression of Ank2L8.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus in motoneurons under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified results in severe disruption of synapse morphology at the neuromuscular junction (NMJ); the NMJ becomes highly ramified with the appearance of small "satellite" boutons that project off the main shaft of the NMJ. The microtubule cytoskeleton within the NMJ remains well organised.
