Expression of Pi3K59FScer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4Pxn.PS has little effect on the size of endolysosomes in primary hemocytes derived from third instar larvae.

Expression of Pi3K59FScer\UAS.cJa in fat-body cells under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP does not induce the formation of autophagosomes in fed animals. In starved animals, the presence of autophagosomes is observed in fat-body cells.
