UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
The expression of CG6227KK108174 under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 leads to a decrease in the number of neuroblasts and ganglion mother cells and to a significant increase in the neuroblasts size in type I neuroblast lineages, as compared to controls. This expression also leads to a significant increase in the number of Ase-positive, Dpn-negative immature intermediate neural progenitors and, conversely, to a significant decrease in the number of Ase-positive, Dpn-positive mature intermediate neural progenitors in type II neuroblast lineages, as compared to controls.
