The expression of Psn^{dsRNA.shRNA.Scer\UAS.3} under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PU leads to early- to mid-pupal lethality, as compared to control; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 leads to semi-lethality and a fully penetrant rough eye phenotype in males only, and to a significantly decreased lifespan and significant locomotor defects in negative geotaxis assays in both gender adults, as compared to controls; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^bbg-C96 leads to mildly thickened L2, L3 and L4 veins near the wing margin, as compared to controls.
